SOPFB,
Again, thank you for your generous donation. There were three groups plus an individual that received pet food recently.
One group was Macon Animal Control. They were completely out of food for 40 dogs that they currently have at the shelter. Part of the food that this group took went to 20 foster homes. They took dry dog and cat food, wet dog food, and treats and chews.
The other group was Dolly Good Puppy out of Barnesville, GA. He had a small pickup truck for his 30 dogs. He only took dry dog food.
There was an individual that came, she has 40 dogs at home from various situations. She took only dry dog food.
I volunteer for a few groups, including Save A Pet. I drove their van and carried back dry dog and cat food along with wet dog food. Save A Pet, Inc. has an address in Forsyth, GA, but the kennel is in Bolingbroke. We have 70 dogs at the present and they had food for apx three more weeks. The food brought back will be used for kennel dogs, portion went to fosters, and portion si being set aside for families that cannot afford food.
Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
