I have been meaning to let you know how much the donation of dog food has helped us feed many hungry dogs in the county.  Many families have been able to keep their dogs and not run them in to the shelter,as well as, giving us the opportunity to talk to them about the importance of spaying and neutering, when they come into our office to get food.

We are also working with families to keep their puppies, if we provide food.  This helps give us time to work with rescue groups to find forever homes, and keeps them away from the shelter until they are adopted.

We were wanting to know if there is any more food available.  It you could let us know, Jerry would come down and pick it up fpr us.
Thanks
Scott and Faye Gayler

Thank you for the dog and cat food you gave me a few weeks ago.  I have a lot to think about with no job, no roommate, but at least now I do not have to worry about how I am going to feed my pets.

Thanks so much to SOPFB for letting us come get food this week, this is wonderful!
As you know, feeding ANY dog good food is expensive, and I have six German Shepherd fosters plus a host of other foster dogs.
Your program will allow my rescue to provide quality food, and a consistent diet.
Thank you!!

On behalf of all the animals at the Cherokee County Humane Society, I want to thank you for the donation of dog food and canned cat food.  We are so very appreciative of your generosity.  It was fun today and I enjoyed meeting others in the rescue community.  I have always been a firm believer that ALL Atlanta area (& beyond, too) rescuers should have a close network.  Afterall, we all really do have the same objective.  We really should try to do some sort of rescuer's gathering...it would be great fun.
Thanks again for including us today.  I am looking forward to great success for your most generous venture.  Let me know if I may help in the future.

I wanted to thank SOPFB for the help with the dog/cat food today.  You are a blessing to me.  The dog food should last a while and it helps me out tremendousley.  Being a single mom is hard in this economy.  I'm just barely scraping by.  If you have more dry bag cat food you can spare in the next pet bood bank shipment please let me know.  Again, thank you so much.  I think you are an Angel from Heaven....

SOPFB,
Again, thank you for your generous donation.  There were three groups plus an individual that received pet food recently.
One group was Macon Animal Control.  They were completely out of food for 40 dogs that they currently have at the shelter.  Part of the food that this group took went to 20 foster homes.  They took dry dog and cat food, wet dog food, and treats and chews.
The other group was Dolly Good Puppy out of Barnesville, GA.  He had a small pickup truck for his 30 dogs.  He only took dry dog food.
There was an individual that came, she has 40 dogs at home from various situations.  She took only dry dog food.
I volunteer for a few groups, including Save A Pet.  I drove their van and carried back dry dog and cat food along with wet dog food.  Save A Pet, Inc. has an address in Forsyth, GA, but the kennel is in Bolingbroke.  We have 70 dogs at the present and they had food for apx three more weeks.  The food brought back will be used for kennel dogs, portion went to fosters, and portion si being set aside for families that cannot afford food.
Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
